EUniCult's Guiding Principles
EuniCult's work is informed by two guiding principles:
1. European education must be understood as a unity that incorporates a plurality of perspectives. Various approaches to its guiding traditions are thus possible and desirable. This diversity of approaches further reflects the extent to which Europe owes its identity to debate and productive conflict.
2. It is important to establish links between the different approaches to reality within and beyond the sciences. This concerns the complementary relationship of the natural sciences and the humanities, but also their relations to the cultural forms of religions and the arts. Accordingly, EUniCult's understanding of culture does not derive solely from the humanities, but emphasizes the interrelations between all cultural dimensions.
